All the more reason why
we should get out the vote and not let Mosca take
over the city. Everything is falling into place. No
matter what council people are elected they will
be Moscas "yes" people. (at least four)
On the agenda is the plan to make HPD Chief an
appointed job. This would double Moscas power
and also bring about a superlative CONFLICT OF
INTEREST, main one being a criminal attorney
controlling a police chief.
If this whole scenario was in place a few years back we would now have a HUD condo at the
back of CG&CC today.
EVERYONE HAS TO GET OUT THE VOTE,
If not we will all get what we deserve.

Kerry Lauricella, a former councilman in Harahan, La., said he often felt "wooed" by prospective contractors, although he said neither he
nor anyone he knew took bribes or were otherwise influenced.
Harahan, a suburb of New Orleans, eventually chose to privatize its wastewater system because it felt it had no choice. Harahan operated
with a $4 million budget with about two-thirds earmarked for safety protection. It was difficult, he said, to handle capital projects.
We did what a lot of cities do — keep taping it and taping it and sooner or later tape doesn't work anymore," he said about municipalities'
struggles to make major infrastructure repairs.
In 1996, the town contracted its wastewater services to a company that was later bought by USFilter. Lauricella said he does not feel
entirely good about it. "I have mixed emotions on having a non-American company with its hand on the tap of America's water valve," he
said.
"You don't know what will happen."

Harahan citizens paying a fee each month for a park several miles outside its city limits is about as confusing as the
headline above.  Harahan is a small incorporated city that can afford its own park.  It can be paid with the fees
already assessed on water and sewage bills to support Lafreniere.
Unless the present administration has already ruined the citys' credit, there is possibility for the purchase of  
Colonial Golf and Country Club.
Paul and Vinny could have proposed this but their foresight is more like hindsight.  They should not
be part of this citys' next administration.  CITY OF HARAHAN

He has more intestinal fortitude, idealism, honesty,
respectfulness and a desire to serve this city with the
transparency its citizens deserve than Paul and Vinny, the
SMOOZE BROTHERS, combined...He also has a deep love, faith
and trust in GOD, true qualities we need in government. We need
to be able to renew our faith and trust in government.   
Billy Caster is the man to do it.

This bothers me. When they qualified, I think we were
all so happy that we could replace the whole
administration and start our city over with a fresh new
leadership. Like I said before "it smells". Within 4 or 5
weeks of qualifying, they decided to drop out one at a
time. That's almost half of the qualifiers. This was
either planned by some before even qualifying and
others being promised something to drop out after
qualifying. Vinny plans on stacking his council with
"yes" people. There is suspicion that he did this with
one of his opponents
in his first run for mayor. In his first run he explained he
would only serve one term and clean up the problems.
Carlo was mayor at the time, so apparently the
problem solver was Vinny and the problem maker,
Carlo, supported Vinny stongly. It was so strong that
"nobody" had to run against him just to keep him from
walking in.
